Team Finn/RTCC

Thank You for visiting my website. This page is particularly personal to me. So, I especially thank for for stopping by and reading this page.
FINN was born in June of 2005, one minute after his brother BAIRD and less than three years after his sister SARAH.

On October 9, 2008, a cancer that I can neither pronounce nor spell took FINN's life.

I never had the privilege of meeting FINN in person. I have spoken to him since his passing many times. In early 2009, I met FINN's father, PATRICK SULLIVAN, online.

I had signed up for the inaugural Ride to Conquer Cancer. A bike ride from Vancouver to Seattle. I didn't own a bike.

I started writing about various related things online. That is how PATRICK found me. Apparently, he found me funny. He nervously called and invited me to join "TEAM FINN". And, without knowing FINN, or his story, I joined. Never in a million years would I have ever imagined how that call would impact my life.

FINN has taught me so much. As his mantra says, to RUN, JUMP, BOUNCE, DANCE, SING, SMILE, and LOVE. And, later, to RIDE.

My biggest take away from FINN is his teaching of the importance of living. Right now matters. So, live it!

2018. New route. Same destination...

2018 is a big year. it marks the 10th year of the Ride to Conquer Cancer. It also marks the 10th years of Team Finn. Over the 10 years, so much has changed. And so many advances with regards to the treatment and cure of various cancers have been made. Collectively, we have helped change the story for many people.

2018. New route. This year we will be pedaling to Hope! While the route is new, the destination remains the same. Kick'n cancers butt! To do that, your support is needed. That support can come in various ways. Perhaps you would like to join us and ride? Maybe volunteer along the route? You could also possibly work with Team Finn directly. Of course, you can always support the likes of me personally with a donation.

If you have any questions about Team Finn, the Ride, or anything related, feel free to contact me directly at 604-880-6419 or at

If making a donation towards my goal of $2500 is more your style, please click on the link below and give what you can.

In whichever way you choose to participate...many thanks!

See 'ya on the road!

Thanks Again,
